Guitar Hero will DEFINITELY be better. First off, there equipment will probably be ten times better than Rock Band's, and its guitars are way more comfortable. Second, Guitar Hero will have tons more songs and the ability to make your own.
lol @shark.... um for the equipment the drum set for gh4's is gonna be like worth 60 bucks due to be made out of plastic... Not to mention its gonna break within the first month of playing jjust like the first rb set out there. The new RB2 drum set (which is an actually real drum set that can be used as an electronic one) costs 300 bucks. You can hit it as hard as you want, rotate the pads, as well as move the cymbols around to where you want them. It is also coming with 2 brand new metal bass pedals, that won't break as they made them realistic too. Although the GH4 guitar pretty much owns the RB's new guitar. The touch censor feature is friggin amazing, but i must comment on how the GH4 kinda stole that idea. As for Vox... well who cares its the exact same.
So all in all, drumming is gonna own sum serious ass for RB2, and guitaring is gonna own sum serious as for GH4.
The song maker kinda sucks, it was in gh2... it didn't do too good i hear. It was also in amplitude and freq.... Harmonix (makers of GH3, and Rockband) says that it rlly is horrible, because ppl can't make songs properly, and it's hard to make the beats and strums. It's kinda like you would need to know how to play all instruments just for it to truely work. not to mention the hours it'll take you to finish off one song.
In rock band the hyperspeed idea is pretty awesome. lol going like 2-4X the speed of the original song is something to seriously try out. Not to mention online world tour, and actual drum lessons....
Guitar Hero world tour just copied the idea of rock band, so it'll be the same thing as Rock band.. (not saying its a bad thing, its a step up from there other games)
Set lists: Rock band 2 has alot of new songs... I beleive about 83 or something new songs... This includes Journy, Metallica, avenged sevenfold, ACDC, the doors, Bon Jovi, Disturbed, Mega Deth, Guns N Roses, Foo Fighter, Paramore, Pearl Jam, Rage against the mahine, Smashing Pumkins, Tenacious D, o god must i say more????
GH4: lol well honestly, just go buy half the songs on the rock band music store and waaalaa... you got all the songs on GH4!!!! congrats... So why exactly would I want to buy this game if i already could get the songs???? hmmmm but here ill name ya some of the artists that are pertaining to this game.. Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, Metallica, Dream Theatre, Slayer, Darkness....
Um my choice is clearly RB 2... But im thinking about getting GH 4.. Just cuz it does look pretty good too
