You know how sometimes there is a great book, and then they make a movie out of it.? Which would you rather watch/read?
I would say the book, because it has more details than a movie most of the time.

Books I prefer I love reading and the Harry Potter books are so completely different than the movies.And if they made Darren Shan books into movies they would be pretty scary!

I prefer seeing things in motion instead of in my mind. I choose movies, but books are great.

Books give people more freedom and movies really don't pertain to the books

the book has more detail. the movie sometimes takes off the best parts

Books, they can simple put more things into them. Also the you get to use your imagination.

Rather watch the movie. Reading makes me sleepy while watching a movie keeps my interest.
