this isnt a serious topic NOR IS IT A SUGGESTION. i figured i would put it up cuz all these people got really whinny about my last topic, which was gaining points while you play games...so I figured i would post this. see if anyone agrees with me or if people will act like lil girls again
That would really, really help some people on this site to get a life. There are some people getting, like, 300 AP in a day, while I get on only an hour or two a day and get about 30. So, yeah, that would be good.
That might block those people who have like 5 people for 1 account getting heaps of points. But seriously, why does it have to be about points, all it shows is that you're addicted to games.
well for me its not really bout points.i could care less about points. i would like to imagine how many people would be active in this site without points. i use this site as a way to kill time

I kinda agree with ya, but i'm guessing that part of AG's appeal would be the points system, so you take that away you lose a few hundred people and then they dont make as much money from advertising. And thats a bad thing.
I don't like the idea of limiting ppl on AP's. If you aren't cheating the system, I don't see a problem with gaining oodles of points in one day. Limiting them would make this site like another Runescape, or IJJI... Not a good thing.
I know this ain't a suggestions but I'll discuss it honestly anyway.
It would *change* things, yes. It may regulate activity but at the same time I think it would destroy some element of freedom that the majority of users. One thing I disliked about Newgrounds was the implicit restriction in only being able to deposit 10 points a day, because that just discouraged me from exploring the site even when I wanted to.
Besides internal restrictions aren't going to deal with the issue of "having no life". That's only solved by actually putting other things into your life!
And I know some people just like to talk and talk and talk on the messenger. That's cool by me, as long as it's not clogging up the pipelines with things like "hi, how r u, fien, wassup, aewotihfgbjmkhaskjnb oh look i'm posting on my own profile".
LOL, yeah, it would put somewhat of a restriction to us. I mean really, think of it, you make your account on the first day and you can only get 20 pts.? that's pretty messed up, and you would just quit because you want a better armartar than what you got.
I think as long as people aren't abusing the system, I think it's okay if people get a lot of points in one day. You could write merits on a ton of games and get, let's say, 250 AP. Then you would have be done for the day.
well it depends.. you should put a maximum you can get from each category.. like you could only get (idk what numbers you would really put in I'm just making an example) 100 from forum posts a day, 150 from comments, 200 from merits and so on. I think that would be the way to do it if you were to go on with this idea
