well spanish is very simalar to latin and so is ltalian but also very different for example: Spanish:menza menza english:dumb dumb italian:menza menza english:man to man
There's an Italian exchange student at my school who speaks Latin. I've had him talk to me in Latin before...It would be really cool to learn, but almost useless. The main point of learning a language is to understand and immerse yourself in a culture. You can't really do that with a dead language.
well it is a dead language but priests and doctors sometimes use it and it's a base for a lot of other languages like Spanish and french so it might be easier to learn those if you know latin
I'm taking spanish and learning about alot of latin words...for example something that we actually use in america alot! Toaster...The latin word toa, i forgot what it means but i'll ask my teacher!
Actually i learned a verse in latin in spanish Azikatali mo mash e bosh wa, se ze su lu me mo lule co...English : It doesnt matter if you should harm us...our gods will keep us alive with our sacrafices...kind of deep and weird but i have it on my note paper
