i really liked the newcomers forum orner, which kongregate didn´t have sadly. but it needs improvement.
first of all, the introdue yourself page is crammed with old posts, and needs misting out. maybe by adding the effect that it mists out all 1 month old posts so that the real new players can shine!!!
I'm afraid to say this has been suggested many times before. Yeah, all the inactive pages should get deleted, and most of the unused ones are locked anyways. Not sure how to interpret this.
So locking them would be better. No one would be able to post, people would post new topics, and eventually they will get dummed down to the latter pages, while saving the point values of everyone who posted there.

Yes, exactly!Lock the forum if it is not neeeded anymore that way the AP earned will be saved.
Now for the locking system to take place legit, the thread has to clearly state that the problem or topic was solved or done. For the threads that aren't needed, I think the inactivity time would have to be at least 1 or 2 weeks old. Of course with that happens it would already be under page 3 or 4 anyways. Which would happen?
