Yeah i'm watching it to.

And i hate to admit it, but Obama is currently "winning" it.

One thing that I found shocking

Rule the country

Presidents don't rule a country. Kings and Dictators do.

I'm also watching it right now. It seems that Obama currently has the upper-hand.

Well, I'd say both candidates have different parts of the debate that they are ahead on...

But the only thing that Obama is coasting on is that McCain is a Republican, and therefore a friend of Bush. The opposite couldn't be more true. He just listed some major issues where he opposed the President.

Same here as far as Republican goes. I personally want Mc Cain to win. But what really annoys me is when they guy askes either one of them a questions, and they don't even answer the question. Instead they go ranting on about somthing else, and before you know it the qquestion is forgotten about!

I don't see how myspace is faster then a major news station, but as of right now it is a lot of going back and forth.Right now its a fairly close debate. They have this scale as to what the 30 people( a special group of swing voters)in the room of the debate are thinking, and they are using a special device to do it,then display what they think. So far it has been going back and forth between McCain and Obama and its really back-to-back right now,but as of right now McCain just had the lead, until he stopped talking ironically.

On that note I support a majority of Obama's ideas, but I get the feeling when I do decide to vote that I will register to become a independent, because partisanship is a horrible thing to get cught up with, because some people vote for a president only because that person is a member of a certain political party and I don't believe in that.I think it may have something to do with my father being a democrat, and my mother a republican.Anyways I suppose you could count me as a democrat to a point, because I support the democratic candidate.

That's rediculous. Honestly, saying things over and over again doesn't make them true. But yet in the respects I would agree McCain probably is winning votes that I have not seen post. He brings up defending the State of Israel over and over again, that very firmly places him with Jews in America and in key states such as Florida.

He also is using Russia for many find that he can follow up with a great success in future wars, but what people don't see is:

A. Russia is a very convoluded topic that the media has positively massacred and most of the AP stories aren't even true!

B. Iran is obviously a state to observe and watch with it's nuclear plans but they have shared their nuclear products information and has no potential threat of weaponry yet. It's very high tech stuff though.

Presidents don't rule a country. Kings and Dictators do.

I can't say that after all the powers Bush can "Give" himself. Wiretapping, scanning, even watching websites post! He also appoints major offices, and as an executive branch of office the duty is to uphold the laws and appoint those who judge them and contradict them.

It's been founded to be a very strong job, but after past attempts to go without it, it's not all that bad.

That is also a very old idea, and once upon a time when the first legislative branch was founded in the articles of confederation, a lot of people thought it was a bad idea to have a multi party system at all!

Partisan ship is where you just share your idea's with your own party.

It's only sustaining on majorities opinion which won't help, Minorities rights will always be respected but Partisan ran governments are very limited minded and rarely last long.

It's a politically stupid idea and Bush has proved our point, it's political suicide.

:O Soo are u for abortion&same sex marriage?

I am, because constitutionally we can't regulate it and it's proposterous to think that we should trample it again to create such a law that has fewer affects than moral induced affects.

You can't say your for it because it just simply won't pass to ban such acts, though regulation can be called for.

Right... because McCain didn't side with Bush on over 90% of the issues or anything like that... oh wait, I think he did?

I believe Mcain has the upperhand right now.I loved how he said over and over agian that obama doesnt have the exsperience like he does.

And he felt the need to repeat it about 50 times. Seriously, focus on the questions, not just on attacking the other candidate. I felt like I don't really know what McCain's positions are. He never gave a clear, concise, and specific answer about what he wants to do in the White House. Obama actually gave very specific answers, made clear exactly what it is he wants to do, and how he plans to do it. I really appreciated that. At least when the debate was over, I understood Obama's position and where he is going. With McCain, I couldn't really tell you.
