Ok. Armorgames doesn't charge you anything, they pay people for their games, and let you use them for free. This costs a ton of money, a TON. Now they need to get this money from somewhere. This somewhere is ads. Without ads they wouldn't be able to maintain the site. If you want it to be ad-free then it will cost you to become a member of AG instead of being free. You'll have a monthly or yearly fee. Plus someone said why don't they update AG? This new layout isn't even a year old.

The more they are viewed and clicked, the more money they get. If they put ads all the way at the bottom of the page where nobody goes they get less money.
Juan -- I don't understand why you must be so persistent on some points. The fact is, advertisements are there to pay for AG -- are you willing to shell out X amount of dollars every month? I don't think so. Albeit, that would make AG unique! :P
The ads are placed appropriately near the game to attract the right viewers -- those who like games. And they're placed around the game so you can click them easily, even one click would mean revenue for the advertiser. Feel me?
