I'm just wondering what you think about it. If you don't know what the secret is its the theory that if you believe that something will happen, it will. Somehow the universe gives it to you. I don't believe in this but I want to know what you think.
I my opinion, it's just something else to make the day go by for some people. A lot of people have to believe in something to live. But hey, whatever works i guess..
well i will get cooler..oh wait im already at full!!!!! oh and maybe if yousay "I belive im gonna get a dollar" and you drop it and pick it up and say you win.
I should note this: The Secret believes in more than just the power of positive thinking, it actually suggests that you can will a hypothetical into existence by believing that it will happen.
This is tantamount to saying that your thoughts can control reality. See how there's wiggle-room for interpretation in that statement? Keep that in mind should you ever read this.
I loved the Chaser's take on it. They tested it out by trying to "visualise" a car space in a busy Sydney car park, and then randomly turned into a spot and ran smack into a parked car.
I don't know what to think about this one, I've never been one to be a positive thinker. The only problem about this one is that it is pretty much impossible to fairly test it being that only you now what you are thinking and there's no set time frame on when the law of attraction will start to work. You could wish for a raise and sure enough, ten years later, get a .5% raise. It's hard to be fair testing this.
There's a difference between attitude changing and reality changing. If one's attitude changes, and with it one's perspective, than one's desires may change and thus the desire is solved. But that's not the same as actually receiving the thing originally desired.
I don't believe it. Not at all. Once in a while it happens, and once in a while it doesn't. If it doesn't, well, that's too bad. When it does, i think that it is becuase the person is thinking about it, and concentrating on it, they will either conciously or unconsiously work to achieve that particular goal/wish, and eventually succeed, and think that perhaps fate gave it too them, because they wished for it, instead of thinking that they themselves did it.
But if Fate gives it to them because they wished it hard enough, then isn't that basically the same thing? The agent finally granting the reality may be different (fate vs. the wisher) but the end result is the same (wishing brings about a reality).
