Is America Going Into Another Great Depression? I think that it might.
How Will It Effect Other Countries? I'm not sure but I am sure it will.

Yeah this is not the first time I've heard Russia referred to as an enemy. I thought we were allies? I mean, we aren't shooting at them.

I don't think this will be a 'great depression' but we are going into a recession. It is a normal part of the business cycle and as bad as it might seem at the time, we will come out of it.

There is no real way to know how it will affect the world. It all depends on how much each individual country is dependant on the US as trading partners, or monetary support, or even how much they have invested in our stocks and bonds.

Well, the market goes up and down...
That's just the way capitalism works. Sure, it was worsened by the home loan fiasco, but there's a one-word explanation for that - greed. And there's no economic remedy for that...

...

Well, it started before he came into office...
It started near the end of Clinton's presidency.

And how can you blame it on one man? The president has no power over the decisions of corporations. Because you know what that is called?
Communism!!!

Socialism*
In communism it is the workers.

Although I don't see what this has to do with anything, and why it is put in a dramatical form o.O?

Well, everybody is blaming the government for all this craziness...
The government had nothing to do with it. The only ones to blame are greedy executives who want to make a quick buck, and when our capitalist system starts to destroy their businesses, they jump out of the mess with their "golden parachutes"...

I think it does have something to do with a bill that the Congress passed actually.

Search "Burning Down the house" on youtube.

IF the government had regulated the industries more and made the kind of sketchy things that they were doing illegal rather then deregulated them and let them do whatever they wanted we wouldn't be in this mess. Is that saying that the executives and corporations who ultimately made these decisions are blameless? Not at all, but this has been a collective failing of an entire society at many different levels rather then of any few individuals.
