I don't think this will be a 'great depression' but we are going into a recession. It is a normal part of the business cycle and as bad as it might seem at the time, we will come out of it.
There is no real way to know how it will affect the world. It all depends on how much each individual country is dependant on the US as trading partners, or monetary support, or even how much they have invested in our stocks and bonds.
good question really!! but yeah my grandma had to switch her cable and i usually come home from skewl and watch MTV2 but it wouldnt come in i asked her y it wouldnt she had said we were going in2 another great depression soooo if it does it will be a big difference but hopefully our government and our president will try there best:.....=[ ~YIKES!!!!~
Well, the market goes up and down... That's just the way capitalism works. Sure, it was worsened by the home loan fiasco, but there's a one-word explanation for that - greed. And there's no economic remedy for that...
it cant be called comunism..comunism is blaming a whole country..oh and,he just got cought up in the middle of everything..lol my adress is 2008,so this is my lucky year!!
Well, everybody is blaming the government for all this craziness... The government had nothing to do with it. The only ones to blame are greedy executives who want to make a quick buck, and when our capitalist system starts to destroy their businesses, they jump out of the mess with their "golden parachutes"...
IF the government had regulated the industries more and made the kind of sketchy things that they were doing illegal rather then deregulated them and let them do whatever they wanted we wouldn't be in this mess. Is that saying that the executives and corporations who ultimately made these decisions are blameless? Not at all, but this has been a collective failing of an entire society at many different levels rather then of any few individuals.
