I don't believe ghosts are real. When people die, their spirit just goes to heaven or hell, and ghosts are pretty much just their spirits lingering around "haunting" people.

As for it going against religion, some people will say that ghosts do, as they are another "spirit". Some people say that since many christians believe in angels, then ghosts do not go against religion. To me, it doesn't really go against religion unless you take it to a far extreme, or if you place ghosts before God, and worship them instead of God.

Depends on the religion. If your religion says there are no ghosts, yes, it goes against it. If your religion says there are ghosts, no, it doesn't go against it. What Religion are we supposedly talking about here?

well i'm not religious and i don't believe in ghosts

I personally do not believe in ghosts, but I think there are some things in this world that cannot be explained.

well you dont have to be religious to believe in them..i honestly had encountered one or two,and so has my mom..

Most religions believe in ghosts...

Even christianity believes in ghosts...(purgatory is sometimes thought to be ghosts stuck on earth)

And for catholics and other religions...Spirits can be 'contacted' through Ouija boards

I kinda half believe in them....But never seen one myself

I actully have a bad paranoia of ghosts, i dont really know if their real or not but i swear i have seen some movement before in my bedroom when im trying to go to sleep, but who knows

The only spirits I believe in are the ones I drink. Other than that, I find there is no valid evidence for ghosts at the moment.

I think they are, in fact, while I typed this I saw something in my periferall vision, i'm gonna stop typing now.

I think Ghosts are real, maybe like a strong emotion or memory keeping them from fully leaving earth. Like say a someone murders an innocent person or even animal they come back as a "revengeful spirit". Or the oppisite if it wasn't a bad emotion or memory they would come back to watch over the person. Just my opinion. ^_^

I dont know if they are real or not but in my opinoin yes they are real.

I believe in ghosts but not religions so much

late at night (past 12) there are huge knocks in my kitchen
anytime during they day when your alone in the basement the door opens and as soon as you turn to look at it, it closes
i caught it once opening then slamming shut

There used to be a light that always flickered in my living room at night

I absolutely am terrified of ghosts because of what they can do to a human...it's like the invincible enemy with a hidden weakness

ooh watch the show "A Haunting" on the discovery channel and you'll be scared outta ur mind
