I was extremely bored b4 noticing this

there is never any ads in the bottom right corner of your profile
even though this is not likely to happen mightaswell get the idea out

Clubs would be ranked by everyone's AP combined and also show the ones with most forum posts, comments, and games rated

Again- love the pics, demonstrates the idea very well, and you are right. The administrators and moderators disapprove of clubs all together, but this way is totally different. But you can always make a website for a club, but then again it's less associated with AG...

Well I'm stuck in an argument with myself so I don't know how this idea would work out.

still some major holes in that even if it did happen

1. everyone could join 1 club and that would be the top in everything
2. 1 person could join 5000 clubs
3. should have a highscores for each individual club profile showing who is the best at what game but that's way too much for just 1 club

That's cool! You've actually thought of a way of implementing clubs into the daily AG life. But you know what? I say there should be a cap on clubs (i.e. 100 clubs) and people could only join, maybe, 5 of them. Let's face it, most clubs/clans on the website tend to die out and usually formulated by new users, so if there's a way to get and keep the serious folks in, that would be wicked. We won't have the "LET THIS BUNNY RULE THE WORLD" club, that's for sure.

Maybe in the application form (approved by moderators? A system?) state a purpose of the club that would be meaningful for AG.

I don't know. But this certainly did give me some ideas, good job Graham.

Hmm well if there are generally over 100 people at any given time on the forums,and we have new members joining every day.Do you really think they would be OK with this.Another idea would be that they would have to be a part of the top 100 or at a certain rank to make a club(Although someone will say "OMG CAUSES MORE SPAM&quot,and could only form one club.Also a restriction on how many clubs you can join is a good idea as well,because otherwise the top clubs thing would be pointless if you think about it.Anyways I hope they could figure something out for this and hopefully make something executable.I have wanted an idea like this to be implemented for awhile,and also a messenger system that sends messages to all club members would help,b/c right now leaders are forced to send chain messages that at times get them in trouble with the mods.
