In my opinion, it's always better to take the time to do some research and find a reliable seller. Buying from ebay can result in a number of bad things, such as receiving damaged/bad quality items, getting your credit card information stolen, and this. Ebay sellers always tend to overprice their items to make them seem more valuable than they really are, especially in ebay stores. Amazon is a great website for buying books, movies, and music, but it isn't good for much more than that. Ebay is good for getting inexpensive items ($50 or less) for even cheaper than normal. For anything else, I highly suggest finding a "real" seller.
