I absolutely hate the advertisement for 'Vote YES on Prop 8'. The way they show that little girl in the end, it's really annoying because that little girl's just going to learn about it from the other kids at school anyway, and not the actual school curriculum itself. If people don't want their kids learning about gay marriage, then home school them, because they're going to learn about things a lot worse than marriage, of both sides.
Also, they hardly teach 'traditional marriage' in schools for kids that young anyways, they usually only teach marriage in certain elective classes in High School.

And I agree with the unconstitutional thing, but a lot of things have changed, to most of the people behind Prop 8, that 'minority' is wrong and should not exist.

I would vote No if I could, but I'm only 15, and by the time I can vote, we'll be more worried about people who don't have hair than anything else, most likely because we've 'gotten rid' of all 'them'.

People with hair should not be able to be in public, do we want our kids going bald? Prop 305, '11.

K well first off the whole thing about us loving women is a bunch of chemicals that are jumping around in our brain... So when he was saying that you have chemical imbalances in your head, all hes saying is that those chemicals that make us like women have changed for you. Instead of one set of chemicals jumping up, they may jump down instead.. We all have chemical imbalances, its just urs is different. I don't beleive hes trying to make you feel bad by being gay and saying that ur f'd up in the head. Cuz thats not true.
Truthfully its up to the public dissision on whether they want to have gay marriages or not.. This can affect the public, because it means that alot of gay cpls will be moving to california... Not saying thats a bad thing, just sumthing to think about.
I personally think that gay marriages should be alowed, because love is the combining of two people who love each other... which is also what marriage is. If two guys/girls love each other, then they should be able to get married.
Now the kid thing... I think it would be hard for the kid, because in today's beleif system there are always those religios radical dumb sh'ts who think it in there right mind to bully kids not of the norm. So if ones kids parents are gay they will beat him up, make fun of him... you know the usual bullying that happens in junior high. I just think it would be hard for an adopted kid to have to go through that. Otherwise, maybe having two moms/dads could actually make that kid a btr person, and learn qualities that he might otherwise not have learned...

nowadays teachers/supervisors are stupid, and kids can get away with it without having to back up themselves with proof or anything... Especially since ive noticed most supervisors are not from around canada... They seem to be all from china, india, or japan... weird... My whole life ive never seen i white supervisor.. They cant speak the language so they dont bother getting in the middle of huge fights.Again this might be just my schools... Ur schools are alll prob diff

lol for once i totally agree with kris... Saying no offense is like a second slap in the face. To me it shows you have no respect for the people your offending. Just say it like a man johnny... since of course thats what america needs right?

you know for a fact huh? k you'd know if you were adopted, now if you were i would 100% start to beleive you. Just at the moment, with the place where i live in, i cant beleive that. How i see people making fun of gayy cpls and desrespecting them the way they do.... I just cant see how kids wouldn't get made fun of. And keeping it a secret doesn't work very well. Wat if the kid wants a b-day party? Or the kid wants a friend over. You cant fully trust them to keep it a secret. Eventually that one friend might leak it out to one of their best friends, and bam. everyone starts to know. Secondly parent teacher interviews??? you dont think your dad and dad, or mom and mom would want to go in to see your teachers? Kids will see your parents... Im sry but its just for me and what ive seen i find it quite hard for a kid to have no problem with having gay parents. But like i said, there will be advantages and disadvantages to having gay parents. Im not saying its bad, im just saying that for a cpl of years it'll be hard for the kid.

My niece is going to be raised around a gay aunt. All she'll know is that being gay is just fine. So you grow up with what you kow and take that to heart. Any kid growing up with gay parents would learn tolerance for minorities not a hate for gays. And like being different is always hard. But like I pointed out, decades ago being a kid who was two races was the big taboo. They probably suffered but they didn't deserve to not exist because they may have been mocked at school.

And I have to once again make the point about adoption. Why is foster after foster home, which is the fate of most of these kids, preferable to a loving stable home with two parents that love them?

Well, people can act how they want. I have no problem with that...(unless I know some gay guy is hitting on me, and that's just plain creepy)
