The source of the "Gearbox if developing Halo 4" rumor we reported earlier in the week seems to be an email, supposedly sent from Director of Technology at Gearbox Corrinne Yu, that reads in part:
I was offered and recruited to the position of Principle (Lead) Engine Architect of Halo Franchise Team at Microsoft. I accepted the offer to lead the team to build the engines and games for future Halo's on Xbox'es and PC's at Microsoft.
While this doesn't exactly confirm that Gearbox is making the next Halo, it may point to just such an arrangement. We'll let you know when we know.
I don't want a halo 4 because it would be dumb to keep it going when the third one was kinda a drag. I hope that Bungie will think of games that were as good as halo. If so I think that it would be cool to make like a space hame or something.
it says there is only three! on the back of the halo three case it says, and i quote:"the thrilling conclusion to the massive halo saga" so there might be another onw but it wont be called halo 4 it will probably be different
you all think you would want another halo, but do you really? the story of halo is really good, and we cant have it tainted with some random game thats rushed justbecause everyone claims they want it, look at Rocky, they made another, and it sucked, as the saying goes, "If it aint broke, dont fix it"
