I recently found a band that not many people know about. I was instantly in love with them. The problem is, I realized, that many of these great bands go unoticed. This is why I created this thread. Come here and post great, unheard bands to let others here great music.
RULES:
1. No one name posts. (Ex: [insert band name here]) 2. If you post a band with explicit songs, please put *EXPLICIT* by their name 3. No innapropriate names of bands 4. Please provide a link of the band
You will notice that each of these bands has a sort of Rock, Techno feel. (Mostly Ratatat) I love this kind of music, and think it has tons of potential.
My Dear Disco is an awesome band that place themselves under the genre of Dancethink. They are releasing their debut album October 11th. This is ther website if the link doesnt work, just type it in. Tell me what you think if you decide to check them out.
It is actually both. I have been familiar with them since before they even had a debut album. They originally came up with it as their genre. But what do you think?
My brother Josh royse. He is starting to get famous in Switzerland and the U.K area. Im proud of him hes really good. You can look him up to even on youtube.
This is for all you electronic music lovers: The band is called Bluetech and if you find yourself intrested you should really listen to their albums. the last one if i'm not mistaken is called Prima materia. Heere is a link for a song of theirs' on youtube. You should also check out Balkan Beat Box. i don't have a link for that though...
Turmion Katilot and Korn are rock, Kow Otani is orchestra (but really good)
Korn is in no way unknown. They are easily one of the most well known "nu-metal" bands, though they are more industrial rock these days.
Anyway, actual unknown band. I sing their praises on every forum I go to. Time to add another to the list. Nahemah
This is one for the metalheads. A band that mixes progressive metal, ambient soundscapes, electronica and death metal into a magnificently enjoyable sound. Their second album is my favourite album of all time.
I'm one of those people who is too busy with other stuff to look for new bands and music.I typically am behind on all of the new popular bands and songs. If it wasn't for the fact that one of my friends was the exact opposite then I doubt I would ever really even know about well....any band.I can't really tell you of any bands that are completely unheard of.I know daft punk is a pretty good group that some people may have never heard of,but their youtube channel is the second highest in France and they have been known to be one of the best techno groups out there so I doubt too many people haven't heard of them. Then there was another band I remember there was this band over in Europe that was starting to become popular, but I can't remember its name.I think I will check out some of these groups though.
Great Progressive/Technical Metal band who just may be the most technical band to ever be assembled. Its absolute insanity. And they have a very small fanbase
