hey, have you heard the news? apparently theres a new version of the nintendo ds coming out called the nintendo dsi. it supposedly has 2 built in cameras, a sd card plugin, a nintendo points shop, and Much more!
Nintendo DSi - 3.25 inch screens (DS = 3 inch) - Has an inside and outside camera, 0.3 megapixels - Has SD slot on right-hand side. - Has onboard memory - Comes with web browser - Comes with app to detect some DS hotspots - Has Apps store like iPod - Apps are free/300/500/800 points - Other apps include an app that allows you to make flipbooks using the cameras - No GBA slot - 18900 yen - 1000 points for free if you buy before march 2010 - Possibly minorly upped resolution - November in Japan, 2009 elsewhere. - Black and white versions.
Thats pretty cool! i havent had a DS since my original giant one, haha, but always love it. I just didnt have time to use it. Depending on how much they are by the time they come to canada i will probably pick one up
thats dumb why would i spend an extra 200 buck on something i already have, just this has slightly better stuff. Wait until the next handheld comes out after this one and get that
I have a Electric Blue and a cobalt black lite. I cant see spending extra the extra cash for another version unless they can come out with games to support the extra features.
Yeah I just heard about this. I don't know about everybody else but why am I going to shell out $200+ for handheld that I already have? Sure it has the two cameras and app store and other wireless goodies, but why not wait for the next handheld to come out? Now if the graphics resolution was getting a complete overhaul I might consider buying the DSI when it comes out. Hopefully the next gen of handhelds will come out sometime in the near future because I love all my handhelds, even way back to my old Gameboy(Gray one) that I still have. Just my opinion.
Well seeing how they're making an app store for this "DSi"... I'm guessing they're NOT making a new gen of handhelds any time soon... but seeing the descriptions.. it sounds a lot like an DS ver of an ipod touch... =____=;; and if it doesn't have a gameboy slot... you HAVE to get games online or something?
