I really need some help on this one. I found some distinct difference between these two:
1. Judaism has different Holidays scattered around the year, and Christianity has one Holiday on the 25th of December, plus the 24th for Christmas Eve.
2. Judaism only believes in God, while Christians go a step further and believe that God has a son, named Jesus.
3. Judaism has a celebration for a child coming of age and apparently becomes a man at that age point.
Aside from these, I find really no other differences between the two religions, unless I missed something. The rest, they really do the same sort of things. Replies anyone?

Because factual accuracy is a pet peeve of mine, christianity has a lot more holidays than just xmas.
Jews believe that God will one day send his son to earth.
You sure about this? I think the key problem with Jesus is that he claimed to be God's son, and this is just not viable for Judaism, any more than it is for Islam. I don't think Jews are expecting God to send His son. They are expecting a Messiah, a Savior, but that does not have to be God's actual son.
Other difference: Christians believe that salvation comes primarily through faith and not through adherence to a particular set of practices, while for Jews salvation is attached to obedience to the Law of God, including sacrifices.
Lol, thanks Tanstaafl for reviving a month-old thread XD But I guess this is a pretty good thread to start off again.
Let's add another religion to the list, Islam. Aside from the holidays/praying traditions, it looks like Islam is somewhat the same from Judaism, Allah/Jehovah, being the only God and being omniscient over everything. The scriptures are different too, but I hear tell that some of the verses and chapters are similar as well.
Muslims accept the belief that Jesus was sent by God as a prophet, but not God's son or God. They deny his death and the resurrection as well. Both Judaism and Christianity deny that Muhammad is God's prophet.
