I'll join.I think scrimitar is the best, cause it's incredebly sharp. And I think you guys would like to play Shadow of Rome(PS2 game).Great game with great graphics. It never gets boring.
I'd say either the katana or gladius. A katana is a duel use weapon. Samurai didn't carry shields, because they used the katana. It's razor sharp, and could rather easily cut through bone, tendons etc. There were even versions made to kill horses, mid charge.
My second choice is the Gladius, because it was well adapted to the warfare of the day. It was used easily behind a tower shield, and was sharp and small enough to go around some armor.
In general, both are sturdy and reliable, well suited to their purposes, and don't break when you need them. I mean they still have battle worthy katanas in museums, they were made that well.
katana or scimitar. The katana is a very sharp weapon and has good blocking abilities. The scimitar is mainly light and also has very good slicing and dicing capabilities.
WOW! that's an awesome motto! I'd just like to say that weapons are awesome, but i'm mainly a medeival weapon kinda guy, I find them more awesome. I also see them like this: Guns are slaughter tools and weapons of mass destruction, they are not war tools. I consider war to be a even fight on each side where a retreat would normally get a little less than 10 people killed. Swords and flails require skill to weild, while as guns just require the strength to pull a trigger and aim. I find a big difference in guns and medeival weapons not just because their close ranged and far ranged, but because they actually require training to weild.
Pretty awesome speech. But I'm afraid I have to give it only 2 points since I had to place it under the Article Submission category where the mandatory points given is 2 pts. per submission. Though it still has a chance to earn 5 more points if being selected as our club's Featured Article.
The Weekly Tasks are the ones we rate (1-10 pts.) given you submit the week's task.
