Soulcalibur (they changed it to all one word with the release of SC4) It is a much more in depth fighter than MK. MK is good for a little fun mostly for the fatalities but there is not a lot of strategy or skill involved just button memorization.

I prefer Tekken but Mortal Kombat beats Soul Calibur.

When I had xbox live I was the 27th top player in the world in Mortal Kombat Armegeddon. MK is my favorite.
