Yes it is legal, you shouldn't have it at school because it's not allowed there but it's legal everywhere else.

are there laws against carrying knives. I know you can't have them in school if the blade is longer than I think f inches, but I'm pretty sure that you could carry like a samurai sword around on the street, and you won't get any trouble.

cool, and lige...lol. I am gonna go buy a samurai sword now. I was just curious cause i carry it all the tim, so just didnt want to break the law.

Not like carrying it in my hand, like in my pocket. lol

Well it isn't a huge knife, it's pretty small actually if it's only hand width, but if it's in your pocket and you don't rob them you should be fine.

Yes, you can have a knife of any size in your pocket in public. You cannot have one in an airport or a school building though.

A law against a knife? Maybe a weapon, but not a knife.

Yea I think it would be legal and as someone said don't bring it to school you might get detention.

It differs depending where you live. Here, it has to be under 6 inches, and if it's a fixed blade it's illegal if it's concealed. Also, if I brought a knife to school I'd get expelled and probably sent to juvie.

yeah, that would probably be true for anywere.

you can actually bring a knife into an airport but you have to declare you have one and you cant bring it past security
