I've heard it was a good book. I haven't read it myself, but since so many people back at college keep saying it's good, I might as well try it.

I hate it. I really do. At least half of the girls at my school are reading about it. Practically all English Teachers that give out Book Reports dislike it. Now it's becoming a movie. That is practically making the girl population joining the dark side. Heard it's about a Vampire thingy.

I live like 3 hours from the town that it's based in, and the town neighboring where I live is mentioned in a few chapters, I believe.

Let me point a few things out:

1.) I have NEVER seen a guy read the book. This is for a very good reason. Romance novels are bad enough...But vampire romance novels...Seriously?

2.) Forks isn't cool. It's full of hicks and druggies. There are no vampires there. Or anywhere in Washington, or the world. Don't go visit there. Ever.

3.) You won't get chased down by thugs who try to rape you by the McDonald's in Port Angeles. It's in the middle of town, right across the street from a couple restaurants.

I'm not done with the first book im on pg 119.
