What, you don't think the USA has it?? heh. Well I agree anyhow that it's not what the war is about. That might be the excuse to get public support, but given that war is so expensive, I can't see an economically driven country (even if we did just flush the entire thing down the toilet) waging a war that doesn't promise some kind of economic payoff.
So...what you're basically saying is that most of the deaths in Iraq are from Muslim redicals? That's a bit expected. They hate america not only for it's ideals and freedoms, but also because it is mainly a christian population. God + Allah = Total warfare
@aaroniscool thats not ture. for one, Allah is god. people say that allah is just a weird god but no, Allah is a way addressing God but in a much better way of God and what they need to call god. its kinda an insult to them when you say that. also, they dont hate america just cause the ideals and freedom and the religion of christianity, its because we invaded most of their own countries. and many inocent people in those countries were killed. same thing with here. in my nieghborhood, you dont know how badly Muslums are treated. treatened, beaten, made fun of, and sometimes even killed. you might say "what?? that doesnt happen" yet you never saw it. and i did. and they over in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palistine, have bombings everyday, many civillians are killed each day. and kids have nothing to do but to protect their own home. so, you should see them, they throw rocks at Isreali and american soldiers. how can you forgive the murderer of your father and mother???? and when they grow up, they cant take it no more and become suicide bombers. and not even all of them hate america. some like the taliban and other groups like al- quida may hate them and try to pose a threat, but look at us. hating them for the 9/11 while we caused everything. imagine you lived at a house, then a people come to you at gun point and tell you move beside while i need to exterminate all the bugs (i dont know! stupid example) while they are doing that you see that the people are only making it worse and are killing your relitives living with you. now they hold you down and say you cant be free to your whole house till we did our job while they didnt do anything. growing up descriminated and having to deal with losses of coarse your going to do something. and all this started was when Palistine was invaded. so dont be pointing fingers and saying all this stuff just cause someone told you or you heard it on the news. you need to see it to believe before you talk and trust me ive seen it.

The Jewish, Islamic and Christian/Katholic religions should never be in war. They are the People of the Book, and they all have the same God. Jihad (sorry for the wrongspelling?) is not a pillar in Islam, and religious wars are not something you should think would happen. God tells you not to kill. Basically what is happening is wrong, seen with religious glasses. You cannot say that Allah should stay, and God go, since it is the same deity. What you can question is the way the western countries tries to help the middle eastern contries.
thanks Cenere, u cool. also, i want to ask people even though im an american. why do we always think we are the good guys. i mean we did great stuff and have the right to have the pride, but we did a lot of stuff in the past that is bad. now we are CLEARLY doing it here. feel extremely bad for them out there in the middle east while some of us just sit here and curse and want to kill muslums when they just trying to protect themselves and are going through the real struggles and we are the bad guys. also you should see in Africa too. this happens and some european troops are there and kids are fighting too. bad stuff going around and we should thank god and be greatful
Kielzanie: America is what is called 'Unilateral', meaning that it does whatever it like without thinking of other's oppinion. Clearly the government in the US wants to show off its muscles to the world. I am not that much into politic, but most of it is saving USA's butt and keeping clean from commitments. Remember the war in Irac? The United Nations was against anykind of disturbance, but the US government did not care, and caused disturbance anyway. I cannot really say what the government is thinking, but I guess it is like the popular kid in the school yard. "If I keep beating up the nerds(the countries no one care about), I will still be popular".
one thing i dont agree about i dont think that US is trying to show off their muscles. think they in their for something cause not even the American government is as bad as that. think they really in it for the oil. they are still dumb and very cruel for doing this but they are not showing off their power if thats wat your saying. P.S: the economy is doing HORRIBLE right now. they should just give up on the war and do somethin. cause they said now america is up for another depression! D:
I know it was a bit wrong saying that, but I think it proved my point. If the US is shown as a strong, leading country, they will be the one going to war, instead of being attacked. It is a defence mechanism. I do not live in America myself, but I know about the economic crisis going on, and I wish the candidates and the president would do something for once, instead of talking and doing nothing.
For the oil thing, I think they should have said that from the beginning. "I am sorry, but oil please?" Is there not something about oil near the US coast or something? Trying other, more regular methods could prove good also.

Well yes, no country just shows off their muscles. (Which is what Russia is accused of here, even though it doesn't have any...) Although they can overuse their power to get things done the easy way.
