im pretty sure it was Nero that has The Devil Bringer, not Dante. but anyway, it just depends on who he fights and with what

That's hard to say for me, the most recent Soul Calibur game melted my brain with it's horrible story mode. All they could say about the sword was that it was the good one, and Soul Edge was the bad one. Very original.
But that's a hard question because I guess it would depend on who's carrying Soul Calibur.
