oblivion. there is no contest

It really depends, I like Fable more because of the amount of customization, but it depends which one you played first but both are amazing games.

i think a better contest would be oblivion or fallout 3 versus fable 2

Yes, it is kind of unfair to pit the first fable against Oblivion because of when they came. They were both amazing RPGs of their time, and Fable 2 should truly raise the bar.

I think that Fable 2 will raise the bar for all RPGS.

Fable 2 vs Oblivion, well there it will stop. Fable 2 has more of a you play, the game changes kind of way. Oblivion you go 'round questing and thats bout it. Fable 2 on the other hand there are unlimited choises.

i played the Fable 2 lost chapters and elder scrolls 4blivion. as for i could say oblivion is far better. fable is good but oblivion is better.

just look at the graphics. oblivion is life-like while fable is more like a cartoonish graphs and the storyline is more fantasy from a kid to a hero. while oblivion has more roles from a hero to a villain, a knight or magician or a thief. it depends on you.

when it comes to gameplay. i say oblivion still wins. with 30+ hours of fun roaming around the whole map. you meet more characters and do quest for them. more equipment and more(or less) magic. then you can choose your path to skillful ninja (speed and strength) or a bone crushing warrior (a combi of str and life/def). it is your choice. not to mention choosing your zodiac sign(i think) where you can get bonus merits while playing. there is also more aspects like lock picking, joining guilds like the thiefs guild or the fighters guild and the arena. the arena is sweet.

in the other hand fable also has the aspects of traveling. there is not enough quest in fable and when you finished the last quest its over but the good and evil sides and customizing your equipments not to mention the marrying part of fable i say it is good to play.

well that is my opinion. it is still depends on you gamers which is better

oblivion is way better but fable 2 sounds pretty good
