I was listening to Coast to Coast AM last night, and someone brought up a "mass sighting" of a UFO tomorrow. I researched it and found this report about the story.
Supposedly, an alien craft will "willingly make itself known" on October 14, 2008. The only clue about when or where this mass sighting will take place was the word, "ALABAMA".
Well, what do you think? True? Hoax? A crazy woman who just wants attention?
lol " a crazy women who just wants attention" thats hilarious. I dont realy know how they could get the exact date just from a word though. Maybe it is a hoax, I dont know.
whoa whoa whoa. Stupidity? Im not American but just because you belive in aliens doesn't make you stupid, the chances of there not being aliens that could contact us in someway, or even just aliens living intelligent as us somewhere in this universe has got to be very small. Maybe the whole believing its going to happen tomorrow is a little silly, but aliens in a whole definitely isn't.
Yes I have to admit this time it does seem seriously wack, but other sitings, especially ones where the government covers them up can seem pretty suspicious.
Well, I'm not sure if it's a hoax... usually these "aliens" don't like us knowing of their presence.
With the claim that UFO's aren't real, I admit that most of the sightings have been discredited as misunderstandings or hoaxes.
That doesn't mean all of them have...
2 examples: In 1998(I think that's the right year), thousands of people in Phoenix reportedly saw a group of bright lights in the sky. They stayed still and appeared to make a perfect curve. Over time, some of the dots disappeared and reappeared again, but they still kept the curved shape. This sighting has never been discredited.
My grandfather has told me a story from back when he was in the army of a huge green "fireball" flying across the sky from east to west at fantastic speeds. Many thousands of others have also supported his claim. This sighting has also never been discredited.
I could give you more, but I don't have the time to look up the details.

The government does not cover them up. Or they do rather, but the irony is as simple as this:
Someone says you stole something, and you say no I didn't... So yes, conspiracy theories reach the government and they simply say no. It was not proven that aliens were actually found >_>
Well, many of the government "explanations" are cover-ups for their top-secret research projects or just stories to keep the masses from going absolutely crazy.
But remember to wear your aluminum foil cap tomorrow so that they can't read your mind!!! =)
Well, the government "explanation" for the "Roswell incident" was a cover-up for a top-secret experiment gone awry. They didn't want their research to be discovered by the Reds...
Also, if UFO's didn't exist, why did the government start "Project Blue Book"?
