Parkour is the art of moving in the most fluid manners while getting from point A to point B. It is a really kewl life style and am just trying to promote it a little bit to give those that do not like organized sports or even if they do just another fun thing to get into. It is another thing to do instead of just staying inside playing videogames all day (not that there is anything wrong with that) lol.
I will post some links to some sweet videos in a bit and am open to any questions or concerns about my topic including to try and help you guys with certain moves the best I can.
@blitzkrieg77, my favorite vault, kinda boring, but is definitely the speed vault. for those unfamiliar, it's where you approach an obstacle at a full sprint and without slowing down, jump, put one hand on the obstacle, and swing your legs to the side thus clearing it. you then resume running on the other side.
ahh i love parkour and free running im barely getting into it again i dont kno wat its called like a palm spin on the wall but thats what im trying to get down right now
okay how old is this 501st kid? I swear with all of his idiotic repetitive comments combined he'll give me a brain tumor or something.
But yeah just to add my two cents here: I think parkour is great. I consider myself a traceur as well as a free runner, and it's really one of the best workouts I can think of outside of a weightroom. It trains your mind to overcome obstacles while simultaneously keeping aware of your pursuer, and it also works out your upper body and cardio.
As said before, it's really just a fun sport to do that takes you outside and gets you moving.
To all you haters, try playing tag without touching the ground on any playground, it's a lot more fun than you'd think
