For those you who find it difficult to slay a mounted AI unit, try this; there should be an upgrade which states, somthing about "boots of haist" or somthing similar, it would require 80 gold to purchase. If you can accuire this upgrade, you will be able to match the horseman's speed exactly so you can chase him down and hit him while he is still on the run. If for what ever reason you simply can't purchase the speed upgrade, then each time the horseman makes his deadly pass, block his stroke and hit him as he passes by. ( you may need to sacrifice some health.) Also, your archers and mages are especialy vulnerable to this mobile-menace! So protect them by standing infront of them and blocking the mounted unit's attack ( press down key to block by the way.)
