Oblivion is a hard, long, and large game! Luckily, I've beaten it! And if you need help with anything from a certain quest, to finding an item. Here is where you ask!

God, it was so long ago that Oblivion came out. I personnally love the game. However, it's glitchability caused my Thieves' guild quests to stop half way through. I have done everything else though, including shivering isles. Did you know that it will be 6 years until the next Elder Scrolls game?

Heh, that was my only complaint with Oblivion as well. I got glitched out of finishing the Thieves Guild questline with a character I had previously spent somewhere around 90 hours with. I just dusted it off recently because I picked up the Shivering Isles expansion, and it was well worth it. Forgot how much fun it could be building a character from the ground up, and finding new shit to do way out in the middle of nowhere.

I came to play Morrowind after I played Oblivion, but I still believe Morrowind is longer, bigger, and deeper in terms of character development and storyline. The fun of Oblivion isn't there as much in the combat aspects, or the graphics, but as an RPG I think it may be the best I ever played.

You can look at this in a number of ways. You could THROW SOMETHING in Morrowind. You could pick up a candle and use it as a light source in a cave. What Oblivion lacked was "variety". There would be 2 of each weapon class for every type of metal used, like iron or steel. That doesn't get as lazy as that.

As for Morrowind, in terms of map size, its the smallest of the four games. There were no traps to speak of, The guilds had little to no story to speak of, excluding the fact that certain guilds had grudges and rivalries against another guild, not to mention the poor effort of animation in the sprites.

Anyone remember Elder Scrolls II Daggerfall? That game was HUGE! It was so big, it was like walking in real life; it would take you 10 minutes of running to get from this dot. To this dot. , and there was still a whole lot of things to do in between. The caves were randomly generated, but if you walk into the same cave, its the same layout as it was before! You had a time limit in certain quests, it was truly an epic game of its time! You used the mouse to swing the sword around by waving it left to right. And this game was made in the 80s-90s! I still haven't gone through all of it.
