The best years of rap was in the late 80s and early 90s. All rap artists ever talk about now is...

1. How much money they have
2. How many "b@&ches" they have
3. How their people will mess up my people
4. Click click boom

Rap used to be an art form and now its turned into a urinal distance contest!

If you want GOOD rap/hip hop artists, then listen to people who are actual poets in their field!

Some examples would be...

MF Doom, Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, Deltron, Lyrics Born

Otherwise go back to the classics.

I personally hate rap. Rock and Metal all the way, but I do listen to some rap (hardly) so, my favorite rapper would be Snoop Dog >.>
