I think that there should be a double period in science rather than grammar. Sure, grammar is a very important skill, but I think that science is more important than grammar. It's just that science isn't being learned enough/as much. I'm really tired now *keels over and dies*

I suppose it depends what you want to be when you grow up. If you want to be a doctor or biologist or anything of that sort, than a double science period could help out. If your going to be a professor or something, then english class could help out, and so on.

If this is just what do you LIKE more, than I would go for science anyday.

I think every period is important so each should be given a fair time...

personaly i hate science i think its a big waste of time when you think about what percent of students will become scientists you realize its a waste of time. i would rather have more expo, math, P.E.,english,or history

I think that higher English classes are useless and only teach us how to fill pages with BS while math and science classes can teach us how to think and give us a better understanding of how the world works.

Zn(PO[4])[3] + AgCl[2] ----> Ag[3](PO[4])[2] + Zn[3]Cl[2]

Basic Stoichiometry, this is what you youngin's learn in Chemistry I. If you figure out how to balance elements and polyatomic ions, then you are able to produce combustion reactions.

In other words, if you are in chemistry, you can make things explode, with the right selection of compounds. The key items though, are H[2]0 and CO[2].

Personally, I think that schools should offer different courses for different jobs.

Both English and Science are very important for different reasons and to different people. School is not meant to teach you things that are applicable in everyday life, it is meant to give you a solid foundation knowledge of all subjects so when you want to move onto higher education eg 6th form and university, then you are able to specialise to the subjects you want to do. There is point saying i hate algebra as i will never use it etc as that is not the point of them teaching it to you.

Message me for a youtube video I'll give you a video why you need to know math in real life.

As for me, I'm going for the scientific professions, as you can tell hehehe. Four more years of college, I'm out and I'll be automatically sent to a hospital to become a full-fledged brain surgeon. =) (already finished 6 years, G.P.A. of 3.9)
