Well, I am a McCain supporter, but if this were true then how would he become senator? I guess people only care about looking up stuff on candidates when it is president.
you don't have to be born in the US in order to become a senator.
Being born a US citizen is not what makes you eligible. Be born on US soil IS. There are lots of US citizens who have been citizens since birth but are not eligible to run for President. If he was born in an embassy or on a military base then he's kosher.
