ok here is the third for example I have 2 more to post so please respond and comment.Ok now say for example:
Your Brother and or Sister (or step brother and or sister) is in the hospital and they are dying. Now they are younger than you and has yet to experince the best parts of life. The docter tells you that her and or she need a lung and artery to survive and that whoever does it must be young so the artery and lung don't fail right after the surgery. The docter also says that most likely whoever does the transaction will most likely die soon after. So now you are faced with the decision. Do you donate your lung and artery and become eligible for death soon after or let you small helpless little brother and or sister die.
Well um..i wouldent do it if one of my family members abbanded me and then came back and says i need something from you to survive but if they didnt do that i would donate something to them fursure.
For the lung, if there was no way to get a brain-dead donor in time, my lungs worked to sufficient capacity and were of the proper size. I would be willing to donate a lobe and help them find another eligible lobe donor. This would mean that the younger sibling would be able to survive on one lung alone until another lung was found, and both of the donors would be able to continue living with only slightly reduced lung capacity.
As for the artery, I really can't think of an reason for them to seek transplant. If its small damage, they can fix it with stitches. Moderate damage can be fixed with either a inserted catheter or by using a leg vein for a graft. Its not like you can really put an entire artery from another person into them.
There's really no need for a "heroic sacrifice" to save them, because needlessly ending your life doesn't make sense when there are perfectly viable alternatives.
