If someone asks a question and the question has been answered please don't make another post saying the exact same answer or yep I guess you know the answer now!So please don't post if the question is answered.
I'm sure it's your breath :P! (It;s funny, I've noticed that too!)
Anyway, in an AP forum people will post for anything, I don't think that will change... flagging is all we have right now, so USE it! Besides, telling people that they are spamming a) Doesn't Help B) IS SPAM!
It's wierd. I post, they don't spam at all. But when I don't post, they usually have some sort of three word posts, 10 rows of them, and just utter nonsense.
I bet it's your grammar. Certain forumites are scared of good grammar; it's like garlic to a vampire.
Judicious use of semi-colon is also handy :P
My advice would be to flag. If enough people flag spam it gets incinerated by Dan's dragon when he takes it out for feeding time.

If you're really lucky, it'll also EAT some of the worst spammers around
Anyway, on the subject of people answering questions... good reminder, but a bit futile. Don't you know threads like this have been proven not to work? Also, mods/admins should definitely close the thread if they've answered it -- it would cut down on a lot of spam (because the thread is closed!) I can't count the number of times I've seen people answer the question, even after a moderator/admin has clearly answered it
I agree with everybody else on this. Too many people do this, and it just brings the site down. Maybe there should be a feature so that the person that started the topic can lock it when he/she feels it has been answered.
