I just wanted to let you guys know a little bit about what is happening with the armatars.
Firstly, I will be taking down the Halloween armatars tonight. I hope to do this for future holidays as well. How it will work is that I will open up submissions roughly a week before the holiday in question, and keep up the armatars for a week after the holiday.
Secondly, we have a new armatar artist! I am going to put up a few sample armatars from the new batch so that you can get a feel for the style. I would appreciate it if you all could check them out, and then let me know what your opinions are. Please try to make any feedback constructive.
That's it for now! I will keep you updated on further armatar additions, and holiday contest opportunities.
These two were for a preview of the new armatar set. They are coming very soon, we promise. No, the drawing aren't thrown away, they are going to be sent to the storage section (wherever that is). So yes, wait longer, as posted above.
No... please read the thread before posting. I already stated that these are just a few preview armatars from an already completed full batch. We just wanted to get some feedback on how you guys like the style first.
Now that I've seen how he does people and dragons, I'm sort of curious on how he does landscapes and other sorts of environmental backgrounds. Are any of those included in the new batch, or will you make me hold the suspense and wait? =)

That was what I was thinking too. I want to see how this new artist does stuff like that. Although armatars usually don't include landscape.

I was just kidding when I said that, I wasn't really suggesting new armatars because I know that "hippy, psychedelic" armatars will never happen. Besides good 4/5 of my post was constructive criticism anyway.

They will be of similar style. I sent a total of 12 requests over, so there will be a total of 12 in this batch. And they should come out soon if people like the previews.
