This is not another post to call Obama a Commie or Socialist. I am an anarchist, not a Republican sore loser who can't stand to see Obama win. This is a serious issue with me. Obama's motto throughout his entire campaign was "change."
So what does Obama really support? He supports the Cuban Embargo, the death penalty, aggression against Pakistan and Iran (the day of his victory he said "we will make our enemies uncomfortable." Of course, no major news outlet published these thoughts from such a "acifist". He supports the costly and useless the drug war, neo-con and corporatist economics, and the re-authorization of the Patriot Act and the continued prosecution of recreational marijuana. He also opposes gay marriage and has been shifting away from his pro-choice stance.
Now, don't get me wrong. There are some issues I agree with him on. BUT, my problem with Obama is his claim that he is going to change things. I don't see that. What is the difference between Obama and Bush other than NAFTA and Health Care?
I am no Republican sympathizer, so this is not a "sore loser speech." But honestly, there is no real distinction between Bush and Obama. I don't see a difference. If that's change, then I'm pretty confused...
This is a good discussion topic, but it needs to be continued in one of the other Obama threads. This forum is getting completely flooded with Obama threads, and all further ones will be locked.
