Terminology

Weave: When two lines of double spaced enemies go opposite directions and pass through eachother, then turn around and pass through eachother again. There can be vertical weaves (the easiest), horizontal weaves (difficult) and a grid weave, which is when a horizontal and vertical weave and together in the same spot. Grid weaves require a lot of skill to master. Level 1 has a vertical weave and level 2 has a horizontal weave, and the first grid weave appears in level 11.

Timer: When enemies move back and fourth (usually), and you have to leave just as they leave in order to get to a certain location. Usually, you have a very small amount of extra time to get there. The first timer formation is on level 3, followed by level 6.

Wheel: When enemies are in a cross or line, and they rotate. The first wheel is on level 14. There is also something called a Broken Wheel, which is a wheel that changes direction after a revolution or half-revolution. The first broken wheel is found on level 32.

Loop: When an enemy moves in four directions, making a square or rectangle. The first loops are found on level 16. Staggered Loops are when there are some loops moving one direction, and others moving a different direction, and you have to go from loop to loop. The first staggered loops are found on level 16 as well, but also on level 22.

Belt: When two lines of enemies move up and down together, with one line of open space between them. The player must go through the middle of them, moving back and fourth or up and down to avoid each line of enemies. The first belt is found on level 23. Belts and wheels can be combined, like on level 42.

Basic Level: A level where there is an obvious pattern, and enemies move together in synchronization. These levels are the easiest because they are predictable.

Rough Level: A level where there isn't a pattern in the enemies, or there is a pattern but it takes a long time to cycle through. Rough levels are very difficult because each time you do them they are different, so they are unpredictable and require improvisation.

Runner: A level or large part of a level that can be completed by just continuously going, without stopping; you just run to the end. Level 7 is a runner because you just run to the bottom, then run to the top again.

Basic Strategy

Vertical Weaves
Along the center of any weave, the enemies eventually form a line. You must not be in the center when the line is formed, and the farther away from the center you are, the longer it takes for the enemies to reach you. Always move along the very top or very bottom of a vertical weave. Watch level 8 for an example.

Horizontal Weaves
With a horizontal weave, you need to pop into one line and then pop back into the other line, moving around the enemy in the first line. Watch level 26 for an example.

Grid Weaves
Grid weave are very difficult. Basically, you need to pay attention to two things at once; each weave in the grid. Try to use the horizontal weave strategy to get to a corner of the grid, but at the same time use the vertical weave strategy. Just make sure you stay around the perimeter of the grid. Also, you can move diagonally one square (like in Checkers) every time the enemies pass by and you won't get hit, until you near the center. A good example of this is in level 37.

Timers
There are usually two deciding factors for timers; your starting accuracy and your turn speed. The more accurate your starting (the closer you are to the enemy when starting), and the better your turn speed (when you turn around after getting a coin or something), the more likely you are to complete the timer. One tip for increasing your turn speed is to never hold two keys at once; press one key and then the next, otherwise there will be a moment where you aren't moving at all. A good example of this is in level 6.

Wheels
Wheels are usually not too hard. Just stay near the middle of the wheel, that way you don't have to move as fast. If there are coins for you to collect near the outside of the wheel, pop out to grab the coin and then pop back into the center of the wheel. A good example of this is in level 14.

Loops
Don't try and move between the loops without moving every direction. At any point, there is always at least one direction you can go other that the direction of your target. Move to the direction of your target, then take a different direction. You can repeat that until you get to your target. If you are faced with staggered loops, just circle the one loop until you see an opening for the next loop.

Belts
Belts aren't that difficult, just try to keep a regular interval for when you move up and down. Don't rush up, wait, then slowly go down. You've got to go up, down, up, down, etc. A good example of this is in level 23.

There is also an in-game tutorial that you can play in order to improve your skills. Just press the Tutorial button on the main menu of The World's Hardest Game 2 to play the tutorial. In the tutorial you can redo levels and go back and try previous levels, just open up the in-game menu.

Avoid Frustration

Frustration is a huge deciding factor in The World's Hardest Game #1 and #2. For most beginners, more than 50% of their deaths are because they are getting frustrated. Always try to calm yourself down when you start to get frustrated, because if you get frustrated enough you'll probably just quit. Either that or you finish with way more deaths than you could have had.

Things to avoid...
- Cursing
- Saying something isn't fair or that there's a bug
- Yelling
- Banging your fists on the table
- Saying that the game is stupid or lame
- Saying things like, "Whoever made this game doesn't know... etc."

Levels that tend to frustrate people...
- Level 10
- Level 12
- Level 18
- Level 24
- Level 31
- Level 36
- Level 37
- Level 45
- Level 48
- Level 49
- Level 50

Things to do to calm you down...
- Muting the sounds
- Taking a short break
- Having a friend or sibling there who will take turns with you
- Just trying not to get worked up in general
- Exercise self control and patience and constantly remind yourself not to get angry

Additional Tips

- You can move twice as fast by moving diagonally as opposed to moving up or down and then to the side. Moving diagonally is definitely something you want to try to do at all times, especially on timers and sometimes runners.

- A lot of levels have safe spots. Your starting and ending checkpoints are always safe spots, and there can also be safe spots within the body of the level. Basically, you want to get from one safe spot to the next, until you get to the final safe spot and move on.

- Patience is key (as said earlier). Some levels, like level 27 just can't be completed quickly. Just wait for your opportunity, take it, and if you miss then just calmly try again. Slow and steady wins the race.

- Always do a level the way you think it's actually possible. If you don't know how a level could possibly be done, use trial and error, and if that doesn't work, check out the Video Walkthrough.

- If you want to decrease your final amount of deaths as much as possible, there are a few good ways to practice. First, complete The World's Hardest Game once or twice. Then, without worrying about how many times you die, complete The World's Hardest Game 2. After you have completed it and have practiced each level, then you can start worrying about how many times you die. Give the Video Walkthrough a quick watch, and then start playing again. Only restart if you die very early on, there's no point restarting if you got your first death on level 10; you'll just get frustrated and die even more in the long run.

- Your player color (changeable on the in-game menu) may affect your performance. On levels 1-29, having your player color set to blue will make it harder for you because you will blend in more with the enemies. On levels 30-39, you player color is not so important. On levels 40-49, you player color should not be red. On level 50, definitely don't have your player color set to black.

Specific Level Tips

Level 1
If you cannot make it through the fast way, try just going through the bottom and getting the bottom two coins, then going back along the top, then back again to the finish.

Level 5
Your player is roughly the same speed of every enemy, so don't be afraid to tailgate; you should be fine until the enemy turns around.

Level 7
This level is a runner. Run to the bottom, get across to the other side, then run straight to the top.

Level 10
This may be one of the hardest levels in the game, because you have to do something 4 times, that isn't even easy doing 1 time. Just remember that all of the enemies are moving the same speed, and that there is a pattern. Eventually the enemies will line up, wait for that to happen and then make your move after they pass.

Level 12
Just look for safe spots and move to them. Once you get to the right side of the level, move to a safe spot a bit lower, and then you should be fine just to run to the end.

Level 16
This is an example of staggered loops. Just circle one loop until you see an opening for the next.

Level 19
This is just requires timing. Move to the top or bottom, and then try to go just as it passes you. Also, note that you can re-use the first checkpoint 3 times, after beating the bottom part and getting the keys, touch the first checkpoint. Also touch it after beating the top part as well.

Level 24
This level is incredibly difficult if you try to do it without stopping. Just circle one wheel until you get to the space between two wheels, then tuck yourself in near the stationary enemy until you feel ready to go to the next wheel.

Level 27
This level takes the longest time to beat than any other level. Just wait in a safe spot until you see a good opportunity to pop out and grab a coin, or pop out and run to another safe spot.

Level 30
This level is very easy because it is a runner. Just run along the perimeter of the level, and circle the loop at every corner you get to. You shouldn't get hit at all that way.

Level 35
This is a very fast moving grid weave. Just try to move from square to square diagonally.

Level 36
Just go from safe spot to safe spot, and try not to rush at the start, because you actually don't have that much time to get to the first safe spot.

Level 39
This level is one that you just need to go really fast and diagonal. Once you see the opportunity, you have to use the horizontal weave strategy to book it up to the semi-safe spot near the top that's covered by the vertical weave, then move along there to the end of that semi-safe spot, and book it diagonally to the next semi-safe spot, etc. It is very difficult to do right, so if you cannot do it just check out the Video Walkthrough.

Level 41
Just watch it go through once, then try to move from open area to open area, and don't forget to move back and fourth at the two corners.

Level 43
Just move along the edge, and always watch for the enemy parallel to you that is going to sweep by every time you try to pop out. Most time you can just wait for it to pass and then pop out, but near the ends of the edges of the diamond it's good to pop out before the enemy sweeps by. Also, you can treat the corners without checkpoints like any other corner, and just wait there until you need to pop to the edge.

Level 45
When moving from wheel to wheel, go inbetween the wheels near the top or bottom and jive back and fourth as the arms of the wheels pass by. After doing that once you should be able to go onto the next wheel, or you can do it twice and give yourself even more time to get there, because the wheel still has to turn around.

Level 47
Just circle one loop until you can pop into the next. Don't try to circle loops that are squares - they go too fast. Only try to circle loops that are rectangles, and just run through square loops when you get the chance.

Level 49
This is a rough level with a grid weave with the vertical weave on triples and the horizontal weave on singles. It is very hard to time, but you have to do it like any other weave. Stay along the edges. Also, the easiest way to beat the level is to go from the bottom left to the bottom right, then back to the bottom left, up to the top left, and finish at the top right.

Level 50
This level is a basic level with a regular wheel and a large vertical weave and a small vertical weave. Just wait in the small vertical weave until the large vertical weave is lined up in the center, then pop out just as it passes and circle the wheel while grabbing the coins. You also have to mind the large vertical weave when doing this. Once you have all the coins (it is best to get them all in the first revolution), try to pop out to the top of the small weave at the end, and then just go to the finish. This is all very difficult to do.

That would be all.hope this helps you all.PEACE!!
