Atari, Sega, NES, SNES... Game boy? Any of these old systems and games will count! I wish to revive that old legacy that many people seem to forget. Remember young gamers, these older games are what the modern games have gotten the spark of ideas from!

Talk and discuss those old, fun new games here (no spam allowed, please)! I personally love FFIII, IV, and V, always play those whenever I get a need to, and when I get bored of those repetitive modern games.

When I was younger, I wished so badly for a gameboy... I think I might be too young for this thread, just turning 19..
But gameboys and mario... Oh, and one of the older nintendo machines... Never had any of them, though, but remember the graphics.

I'm 26 bud, no need to be embarrassed >_>

I'm unpacking out of my closet, and I'm grabbing my old NES, that's right guys a Nintendo Entertainment System, packed with 8-bit graphics and retro-computerized sound effects! I will now play my favorite game of that system, Guardian Legend! If you do not have any of these great systems, go and find an emulator to download and play these great games!!

I really liked the supernintendo and the N64. Some of the reasons why are because of the games. Mostly from James Bond and Mario. I still play every once and a while i can get because i really don't get bored that much from those games.

I had a Nintendo 64 when I was a child, played it with my brother, was very fun but when you touched the purple part, it would turn off -.o

Haha I still have my power glove. Anyways you must mean an old school console gamer. Because an true old school gamer was hanging out in the arcade, never mind consoles.

I mean I had the nes and I duck hunted the crap out of some clay pigeons but the arcade was home. I still remember being the only girl there lol.

An Atari was where it's at. You didn't need major 3D graphics and all that, all that was needed was for the gamemakers to tell you what all the shapes were and you'd let your imagination do the rest. Or at least that's how me and the rest of the kids did it, my mom never really did get what was going on. Those were the days

Oh MAN, THOSE were the days... Would you believe us gamers that were around back in the 8-bit days of gaming would live to see 3-D 64-bit style graphics?! That's exactly what we were thinking when it did come out. We all thought that it would be 32 bit and stay in 2-D for another generation, but Nintendo really did take us by surprise. When my friends and I first got a hold of Mario 64, we played that sucker all day and all night without stopping! And the fun didn't stop when we got 007 Goldeneye... 3-D multiplayer gaming was at its hottest with this game!
