I love how no one actually gives any good facts about why a certain console is better than the other...Heres my opinion
PS3 better graphics in most places except it sometimes gives bad outlining on characters or buildings..However for only 300 to 400 dollars it packs quite a punch...Free online good stack of games but there are more bad PS3 games than the xbox games..Although there are some good PS3 games all the same and my biggest problem is bloody updates for PS3 remember the wise saying 'Half a PS3 gamers life on the PS3 is spent updating his console and the loading times is very slightly longer.
Xbox in my opinion has better shooting games (in my opinion)..It costs under 200 dollars,although its online isnt free it is cheap and is better than PS3s version..Without the websurfing (mind you you could always just use the computer for that and thats easier) Xbox also has a brighter effects on graphics..Which works on some games for shining and effects of the sky..But when you are trying to create a gloomy atmosphere it sometimes looks a little blurred. However although the xbox is a lot cheaper it also strips away a lot of things..It dont have a bluray machine and It dont have wireless connector ( has to be bought seperate)
lol k windshift... Um ps3 doesn't have that many updates. Actually theres only been 3 this year. And each one ha dramatically enhanced play on the ps3. The first one started the trophy thing. Although no games had trophies yet it started preparing for it. Second one allowed you to message in game, instead of having to fully stop the game to message friends back. Third update fully introduced the trophy system which is exactly like the xbox idea of you have to do certain things in game in order to gain gamer points or something like that. The ps3 game updates i must agree can take sum time, but most of them do change a bunch of things around in each game such as increasing graphics, new weapons, new maps, btr armor, etc... Updates help and change up the system. If xbox doesn't have it its just gonna keep on being the same system with out any increases in anything.. And loading time... Im sry but its exactly like the xbox's. Not one game on ps3 takes longer than the xbox 360's. Anyways my view: PS3- excelent graphics- 1080i!!! no other game console has that... And it pretty much makes any 1080i game look like each character is an actual person. Fight night round3- i feel bad beating the crap outta the other guy, they look so real. Um as well for the games... Every single good game for xbox (other than gears of war 2) has been made on the ps3.. (halo 3 isn't that great of a game. im sry it kinda sucks.) although ps3 does have a crap load of bad games... its just they haven't rlly been advertised so no one rlly knows about them anyways. Its the wii that has the big difference out of everything. They don't have Dead space, rsv2, end war, any actual goodd games. Xbox360- UM yea, ring of death anyone? my friend had that happen 3 times in 1 year, as well as having 5 of his games melt on him. Thats three different xbox 360's fully dying in 1 year. Not a good track record if you ask me. I would like one, just to see how it is compared to a ps3. But ya the got good graphics, and great games. O and pretty comfortable controllers. My friend has one with a fan built in it. Its pretty sweet.
