I don't have a dog, so I guess I've never experienced a dying pet before. But I would never kill anyone or anything I'm familiar with in cold blood, I just won't be able to do it. I guess I'll starve...

Your natural instinct would be to survive no matter what. Most people wouldn't have a choice in that situation.

Dude why would i eat my dog?? As much as i love my dog, dogs would taste terrible! Why do you think we keep them for pets? If we didn't then we would be eating them! Obiously the first person who tried eating a dog didn't like it, so why continue it now if your taste buds will neglect you. Like i said, i love my dog, i would eat the grass or leaves first before my dog, if not my toe, i got 9 more of them.
