hey, i just wanted to open a thread about my favorite author, Stephen King. I'm not sure if there are any other threads like this one, I hope there aren't. So what's your favorite and why? Mine is Pet Sematary because it's just plain out creepy and written very well.

Hi, this belong in the popular media section, so would you mind getting a mod to move it? Thanks.

I have read Quitters Inc, which was rather... Interesting. Thrillers are not really my cup of tea.

@blackrabbit, please dont tell me you havent heard of Stephen King!
Anyways, the only book ive read would be Misery, and I loved it
My favorite movie would be It, followed by Misery, then The Shining.

Uhhh!
I have really enjoyed a bunch of his writings (mainly short stories, but still)!
I read Danish translations, though, so I'm not sure of the original titles...

But Eyes of the Dragon. One of my favorite books of all I've read, actually.

P.S. Cenere is right, this needs to be moved.

Horror stories!

Define Horror. I have rea some of his works, and some of them are less horror and more thriller.

Were he the one to amke Monkey's Paw? Cannot remember...

@ Cenere

Horror and Thriller both. He seems to like it.

I actually just read The Monkey's Paw yesterday! It is not by King, but by W. W. Jacobs.

Yeah, like 'It' being horror, and 'Quitters Inc' being rather thrilling...

Aw dang! Anyway, rather interesting story. I read a lot of thrillers in high school, and now I cannot remember who did them...

Anyone remember the title of that short story with the haunted hotel room? 'Room *four ciphered number*', can't remember the number, though...
Really good story.
