happened to me 2 days before christmas. didnt get it back for a month!

It happened.. about a month after I got it for my birthday. =(

I chunked it and got a PS3 which has lasted me about a year, and it is way better than 360.

it happened to me TWICE! at first we panicked and called microsoft then like they sent us a package thing and we had to send it back. then we got it back along with a month free of xbox live. then like a week later it broke again, and when we caleld they did the same thing. but they told us that if it happened again, they would give us a new one! but unfortunately it hasnt happened yet.

I never had it, maybe you guys should stop playing so much ! :P

Usually I'd say the main cause of the Red Ring is over-playing your XBox, so might I suggest you kids getting up off your asses and doing something active.

i had three rings and just sent it out....im not getting it back for 4-6 weeks.

My friend got it and he exchanged it at best buy. It broke then he got a new one in the same day.
