Have that, read it. Didn't like it as much as I actually should regarding the fact it's a classical piece of literature. I'd rather read Dante's divine comedy again than Homer's Odyssey.
can't handle a bit of escapist fantasy literature Wolf?
I don't think Wolf's mocking this because it's a fantasy themed book. Then again Wolf, you should remember the average age of the regular Ag citizen.
My guess would be he prefers Sci-fi over fantasy, as do nigh all persons who read fantasy in their youth. I recently discovered Isaac Asimov myself and I must say I'm quite charmed by the ethical dilemmas he proposes by means of his robots.

I just bought the Caves of Steel -- do you know if that's the first of that particular series?
I also have I, Robot, and I plan on digging into that once I'm done with Michener's Space.

As I mentionned, I only recently discovered him although I had been hearing from his works for a long time. I got through the French edition of I, Robot, and I was charmed by the moral issues at stake and how they were depicted, however, I don't know much more yet about his works. I know there are several series, some intertwined with others, but that's about it.

Understood. I'm a bit peeved that some spoilers for I, Robot were given away due to all the mouth-flapping that was going on after the movie was released. It's easy to guess that the book and movie vary considerably, but I heard about some correlations between them that have been personally ruined for me.
Regardless, I think Asimov has been regarded as one of those excellent sci-fi writers that really push the 'gray' areas of morality.
Have you read other sci-fi books that are similar?
