Honestly, I don't trust the source (WND is kind of a joke) and will have to do more balanced research. By which I mean I find the same story in multiple papers/websites with varying views (from far left to far right and everything in between). Average the lot of them and you're generally close to the truth.

As presented in that article, I see why THe Civilian Force thing would make people nervous but fully support the community service stuff. But again, WND is not really news, per se.

I <3 Republicans taking stuff out of context and following whatever FOX news says.

When Obama addressed a "Civilian Force," he was talking about expanding the Peace Corps, Americorps, etc.
