At first, make sure you protect yourself and your buildings. upgrade EMP and Flak (and the others if you want) dont go beserk and click everywheres..take your time and lead. destroy ones that are in the middle of the screen or heading for your buildings. when the guided missels come, make sure your missle explodes close to it or else the missle will swerve out of controll making it harder to hit. when you lose atleast one building.. if its not the flak one keep concentrating on protect you nd ur buildings. when atleast 2 or 3 buildings are down, if your flak one is destroyed ONLY protect your base.. i got marksmanship and die hard badges and seargeant first class doing this. this game is really easy but u dont realy need any of the buildings except the emp and the shiled giving thingy. just upgrade this twoo all the way then keep recharging the emp and whenever u need just fire it. this helps get ur rank up faster so try to keep this buildings as long as u can. but if u see their about to be destroyed and u cant do anything about it leave them and just protect ur base. dont forget to upgrade ur bass too.
My record is Lt. Colonel, though as I've read there is Colonel, General (maybe a second general) and HAXXOR above that. Upgrade FLAK to the max then shield recharger to the max then EMP to the max, then your shield then fire rate and last but not least your the time stop building. I think you should hang on to all buildings until the green missiles appear then you have 2-5 mins to survive, when 3-5 green missiles appear you won't be able to defend your other buildings anymore, then concentrate on your main building. When a green missile appear shoot it at once, if you manage you can survive for a long time.
