Well I see Mortal Combat as a huge classic in fighting games, but the recent Mortal Combat games aren't as classic as they used to be. Also Tekken games are really awesome and judging from each most recent game then I'll have to go with Mortal Combat, but once Tekken 6 comes out for the PS3 then my pick is for Tekken.

Tekken in my book, I'm not big on fighters feeling 2Dish so Tekken has the upper hand.

Neither, Soul Caliber owns both! Though, If I had to pick one it would Tekken.

I think Mortal Combat is cooler and I don't think it would be a very good idea to combine both of them.

It was the most recent one released. It was Tekken 5. Also, I agree that Tekken is better, but who here is looking forward to playing Tekken 6?
