Well I was watching this on 60 minutes in Australia and this Community-MRSA superbug that's killing of lots of people and can't be stopped
here's the full story and video please watch: We've all heard the horror stories. Hospitals crawling with super bugs, patients in for routine surgery who die from dreadful infections.
That's bad enough.
But even tougher, more sophisticated, bacteria are at large in the community.
They're everywhere and the really frightening thing is just how swiftly they can strike.
One day you're quite healthy, the next you're fighting for your life.
Age is no barrier.
The old, the young, the very young.
There's now solid research that suggests a quarter of all sudden infant deaths (SIDs) could be caused by these superbugs.
And, in many cases, there's nothing we can do to stop them.
MRSA superbug that's killing of lots of people and can't be stopped
MRSA is just a Staph infection that's resistant to penicillin and other normally-used antibiotics. Just go to a doctor and make sure not to touch anyone else.
It's no big news that drugs like penicillin are becoming less and less useful as bacteria adapt...Like thelistman said, it's just fear-mongering for TV ratings.

How is that possible? A baby's death is classified as SIDs because it happens suddenly, with no cause. When doctors started telling parents to make their kid sleep face-up, the problem went away. If it were a super-bug, why wouldn't the parents get it as well?
