Meh to get truely into the halo series and think its all that you have to be quite a nerdy futuristic i love spartan kinda guy. Its to much of a dumb story line to follow, and it gets boring after the first game. Your pretty much doing the same thing over and over... Playing the sequals is pretty much like playing the first alo except with different levels, and a few btr weapons... Gears of War is amazing. Its to bad ps3 doesn't have it cuz it would make a lot more money if it was out for ps3. It WAS the game to bring the third person shooters era that it is today. Clearly GOW is way btr than any halo game, mostly due to the fact that girls wont think your a nerd if your playing GOW, and that it has a way btr story line, and its kinda horror, and its not nerdy.
yeah everyone that picked halo 3 its alot better because of the controling is eaier (to me) i got a PS3 so i dont really play it alot i only do when i go to my friends house but i wouldnt know much about it
GEARS but the only thing gears takes forever to find a match online, halo does too, but gears can take up to like 5 min. which is bull. BUT DEFINTLY GEARS. the best online game for quickness of finding games is cod4 it finds games instantly and gears has more people playing then cod4 and it still takes forever but GOW2
Okay I havent played gears of war 2 yet but i just got done beating GOW1 on insane. Honestly, i'd choose gears of war 1 over Halo 3. Halo 3 was WAY overhyped. I mean, WAY. And what did we get for it? A few new weapons, a new vehicle, and a short, crappy ending to the trilogy? Forget that. Gears had an extremely deep storyline, and action that was alot more intense than that of Halo ((And I played on legendary)). Plus, i mean, Master Chief was cool, but Fenix is just badass. Dom, Cole, and Baird inject alot of comic relief at times when you need it. Halo 3 wasn't as good as it shouldve been. It seems really half-assed when compared to the rest of the trilogy. I go with Gears 1. xD Cant wait to play the sequel tho.
