Having trouble with homework? Come here and ask. If anyone knows the answer, or can help, please post here and help, you will recieve thanks, and if this thread becomes popular and important, you might be acknowledged by a moderator and given a merit. This is a good idea that I came up with while working on my chemistry homework (MgBr2= wtf?) so... yeah, if you need help, or can give help, please post your questions or answers, and a simple rule, please try not to post more than five (5) problems in one post, and please don't double, triple, quadruple, or multi-post. I hope your questions will be successfully answered and that you have great acadmic success, also, if you are past school or college, you can still help, if you've gone through the grade that problem is in, you will have better experience dealing with it.
Would anyone would know how much jewels of heat that can be given off by 1.3 moles of water and 2.7 moles of carbon dioxide, after being combusted by 2 moles of hydrochloric acid and 5 moles of potassium acetate?
... I didn't think so XD but seriously, 7 year college student with a major of stoichiometry and medicine, let's bring up the questions, people. I really want these threads to work. Obviously those that are showing users how to do these assignments, don't just show them the answers, show them HOW to do them, so they actually get good grades.
I can help with,8th grade scince,SPELLING FOR SURE and not good with grammar as in where there, theyre, their, mean..2nd grade stuff still dont know what it means..and uhh also some math, especially sqaured and bse,and exponents!
I am very smart and go to gifted program, but i am only 10, and majority of armorgames is at least 13. But i am best at math and spelling. My favoriter word to spell is simultaneously. I know i spelled that right.
Ok great... but we are looking for questions to answer, not how smart you are, and Zophia, thank you, and sorry to anyone who made a thread like this, I admit I've never seen anything like this.

May I just set that one up? There - that place. They're - they are. Their - belonging to them.
Oh, i suck at explaining English grammar. I'm good at using it, but explaining - no... I tried?
@ShintetsuWA 1. an act or instance of placing close together or side by side, esp. for comparison or contrast. 2. the state of being close together or side by side.
@owen, that is random juxtaposition, shintetsu was looking for the definition of juxtaposition itself. anyway, I have a question, how do you figure the amount of charges in compounds and ions, such as AlCl, how do you find the amount of charges in it, I need help ASAP, it's due tommarrow.
You use your periodic table to help yourself figure out the charges of nonmetals and group Ia and IIa metals. There really isn't an easy way to remember the transition metals unfortunately.
Group 1a: 1+ Group 2a: 2+ Group 3a: 3+ Group 4a: 4+ Group 5a: 3- Group 6a: 2- Group 7a: 1- Group 8a: None, inert
Now look at AlCl, Aluminum chloride. Al has a 3+ charge, since it is in group 3a, while Cl has a 1- charge, because it is in group 7a. Since the compound must be neutral, the correct formula should be AlCl3, or a ratio thereof.
Basically what Parsat said. Now then, Idk if you've gotten to monatomic ions(ferrous = Fe2+) and polyatomic ions (Sulfate = [SO4]3), but that will probably be assigned to you later. Good luck on your assignment, whatever it would be.
