That's fine, but some people do go to church. There isn't a way to prove whether God exists, or in how many parts, or how many total there are, but I don't think that merits religious folk and non-religious folk to be blatantly antagonistic towards one another.
The God, or Gods, you believe in would depend on the religion. There is no way of proving whether or not they are there, but them 'being' there gives people a sense of hope and the belief that they are being watched over/cared for...in a sense.

It'se better to use a dictionary than the wait until someone defines the word/words.
Go look in the "Is God real" and "Why do people believe in religion" threads. Some would think it is ridiculous to not believe in a religion, you know. I do not think you should care why other people believe in something, just because you do not. That is their own business, and as long as they are not extremists/fanatics, you should not talk bad about religion. If they are fanatics, it is totally okay.
