k so i went over to my friends to play xbox and saw the brand new spanken update... You know the one that EVERYONE has been psyched about. LOL=wat i did when i saw it. I couln't beleive my eyes! Xbox created an update that totally lost all my faith in their system. They screwed it up and made it exactly like the wii. Stupid avatars things. Like honestly, congrats you guys now have the stupid mii things that look like crap. If ps3 does that.... o im gonna be pissed. The wii already sucks balls, and im guessing xbox felt like sucking some too... Congrats!!!! Anyways this long awaited update seemed to piss off alot... i mean ALOT of people at my school. There are many people who actually were talking about how they are gonna trade it in for a ps3, just because the xbox has been going downhill since they bought it and there fed up with it. For a long time I have been debateing whether to buy an xbox 360 also... And this finally persuaded me to never EVER buy a stupid xbox in my life. Mii's=stupid. wii= horrible system. Xbox= turning into wii.... XD. And yes this was just a rant to say how xbox f'cked up big time. O btw, have u ever noticed how stupid the wii is? To add friends you have to type in some long 15 number code to add someone... GET USERNAMES U DARN WII, EVERYONE HAS EM!!!!
yea well the hard drive downloading feature is something the ps3 has done since it came out. i hate that, and tghats one of the reasons i didnt buy one. the xbox still goes fast.
Ignore the update, nobody really cares about the minor update, the are icons like that on vista and xp too. The wii's wireless technology rocks, you suck mii balls! JK!
i see wat ur saying i was pissed too, but the thing is the games for the xbox are still freakin awesome, so who cares if it has dum@$$ avatars, the games are still kick@$$
i hope you know that...i like it and so do my freinds... even if they are copying the wii...it is fine with me... i mean having netflix is great... having parties is awesome (you can talk to people while playing different games) and being able to watch the movies with friends is also great! (i think u can do that) the avatars are ok cause everybody likes it pretty much...the new menu is 100 times better still...i mean really i KNOW u can't think it DINT improve cause it did no matter wat... even if it did copy the wii (which im sure they did)
The avatars were only one of the features added. I didn't really care about it, and it certainly doesn't make the system worse (lulz, yer avatar meks u ghey). The menu was upgraded 100% with easier access and no lag when accessing it in-game. Parties are also better now. Plus, the 360 still has the great games and online play that I bought it for. Bashing on the Wii was kinda weak too (Metroid Prime 3, Zelda, Paper Mario are all good games and I'm sure there are others. Plus, my mother plays Brain Age on Wii and she's over 50. Let's see another system do that).
lol my friends are always on about the ps3 copying the xbox and wii but since the avatar update they have shut up and i turned the attack on them. this shows xbox aint about serious gamers :P
@ IAMMERCY.. im sry guy. These days everyone hates halo 3 lol. Only ppl who are HUGELY into halo like halo 3. I've played it. And its an EXACT copy of halo, except with sum giant sledgehammer, 1 or 2 new guns, and new terrain. Other than that its the same thing....
Other than that, im harping on the wii because i dont like it at all. It has nothing interesting about it. The games all pretty much suck, except for SSBB. The graphics suck, its all cartoony. And the gameplay is meant for games that take 15 min of your time and your done. EX brain age. Ive played on DS, and you play for 15-20 min and ur done... and you've gone cross eyed. There games are meant for 6-10 yr olds who like constantly moving around and quickly going from one thing to another. Its just my opinion (as well as many others it looks like)... but i would nvr want/ get one. And yea, ppl say that PS3 has been copying Xbox... but now it looks like xbox is copying ps3. you say you can watch movies with friends? congrats remind you of blu ray? The avatars are rlly stupid... im sry but im not gonna go there. I saw that yesterday and i sh't my pants laughing. They've turned the xbox 360 into a console for an even younger crowd, and proved that the ps3 is meant for the serious gamers. They have nothing kiddish on their... I think that the only actual E rated games for the PS3 are sport games... Which is sweet. As it seems im not allowed to play E rated games as i only rent and buy mature games.
The PS3 is also making a "Mii" type thing also, look up PS3 Home. Also don't like the Avatars? DON'T USE THEM. It runs much faster than the old setup so I'm happy.
